Vintage Wooden Makonde Shetani Sculpture, Hand Carved African Art

The Shetani spirit figure, with its distinct posture, symbolizes a powerful entity caught between two worlds. Its tongue, extended outward, suggests a playful or taunting nature, while the hand on its ear indicates a heightened awareness, listening intently to the unseen forces that govern both good and evil. The other hand, holding the tail at the back, conveys the spirit’s grounded connection to its animalistic origins. Whether a guardian or trickster, this figure embodies the duality of spirits that can either guide or mislead.

The sculpture is crafted from high-quality wood and features a stunning shetani figure who is sure to add elegance to any room.
